POSITION DESCRIPTION
Position purpose
To provide core accounting support in an efficient, organized and detailed manner. To develop, maintain and enhance accounting system and processes to efficiently and effectively achieve organization goals and objectives.
Main tasks
Core objectives include:
- Managing and supervising a team of Accountants and bookkeepers
- Ensure transactions are regularly recorded in an efficient manner
- Ensure monthly, quarterly & annual accounts are closed per time table, reconciliations are updated including inter-company accounts
- Ensure BIR and BOI deadlines are adhered, reports are prepared, reviewed and submitted on time, and supervision of local accounts,
- Managing and processing Payroll of Australian employees including PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax while supervising local payroll
- Ownership of Accounts Payable working closely with Operations Manager
- Maintaining Fixed Assets register including depreciation & disposal
- Australian BAS and PAYG Installments,
- Managing and supervising a team of Accountants and bookkeepers

Other Duties
Monthly General Ledger and sub ledger reconciliations
- Reconciliation of inter-company transactions and balances
- Input to operating and manpower budgets

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Qualifications
• Accounting degree completed, CPA qualification
Experience
• Minimum of three to five year’s commercial accounting experience in a reputed organisation
Knowledge
• Local BIR, BOI, Australian BAS, PAYG, Payroll, Taxation,
