QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

METHOD SUPERVISION

1. Learn new laboratory procedures and techniques and introduce and train them to the laboratory personnel;
2. Performs Gage r&R study after a new analyst is trained, a new measuring instrument is purchased for use, and a new test method is commissioned. For new test methods being commissioned, approval to run Gage r&R between the group’s laboratories must be secured from the Global Laboratory Manager;
3. Translates the procedures into simplified work instructions with defined process flows and corrective action(s) in case of deviations from the standard method;

MEASURING INSTRUMENT SUPERVISION

1. Ensures that JCX laboratory has well-maintained measuring instruments that are verified, and calibrated internally and externally by an external calibration laboratory

MATERIAL SUPERVISION

1. Ensures that the inventory of JCX laboratory consumables (chemicals, reagents, office supplies, testing consumables such as tissue, filter papers, PPEs, etc.), glassware, and any other materials required for the testing of carbon is maintained well at a safety stock level to avoid issues on delayed test results due to shortage of materials.
2. Assures coordination with Store and Purchasing personnel to avoid delays in the release of test results.

QUALIFICATIONS :

1. Knowledgeable in Good Laboratory Practices.
2. Knowledgeable in Integrated Management System (IMS) based on ISO 9001:2015 or the Quality Management System and ISO 14001:2015 or the Environmental Management System and ISO 45001:2018 or the Occupational Health Safety Management System.
3. Knowledgeable in Internal Auditing and Document Control.4.Knowledgeable in Product Traceability and Product Recall.
4. Possesses strong leadership and people management skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, and a license Chemist.
2. At least one (1) year of experience in the laboratory, preferably in the Manufacturing industry.
