PURCHASING STAFF

• Canvass prices from suppliers from purchase order request;
• Verifies purchase requisitions by comparing items requested to master list, clarifying unclear items and recommending alternatives;
• Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and price; obtaining recommendations from suppliers for substitute items;
• Ensure that good, equipment and services are purchased at the most competitive price
• Ensure Accurate, Complete and Timely delivery of goods, equipment and services ordered.
• Keeps information accessibly by sorting and filing documents;
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage

Qualifications:

• Graduate of any 4-year course
• Atleast 1 year experience in foreign/local procurement/purchasing
• Good knowledge on vendor sourcing practices

• Analytical, keen and meticulous
• Good interpersonal relationship skills
• Computer literate - MS Excel and Word
• Negotiation skills
