Your Role

As a Purchasing Officer, you will:

• Timely and accurate data entry of manual requisitions to enable generation of purchase orders & purchase variations in JDE.
• Timely and accurate conversion of JDE Electronic requisitions to generate purchase orders and variations.
• Distribution of Purchase orders to the relevant suppliers, requisition originators and buyers.
• Liaise with internal customers to rectify any non-compliance to procedures/governance.
• Assisting “Purchasing Administrator” with Adhoc tasks as required
  
  

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Equivalent of Australian year 12 education as a minimum
• Business College qualifications in Business / Accounting / Procurement would be an advantage.
• An understanding of Australian, New Zealand and PNG GST/VAT Tax laws would be an advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar purchasing related function is essential
• Experience in transactional processing of requisitions, purchase orders and receipting of good and services in a multi-currency environment required.
