Responsibilities of Purchasing Assistant
- Issue purchase orders to suppliers, distributors and manufacturers
- Ensure that orders received are accurate
- Ensure goods received are not damaged
- Handle goods throughout the purchasing process
- Work closely with relevant departments to ensure products purchased are in line with the needs of the company
- Keep accurate records of purchases made
- Perform other tasks given
Qualifications of Purchasing Assistant
- Can do inventory
- able to lift or carry
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, but not required
- Experience working as a purchasing assistant in the industry is preferred
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Can work in a Compressed Work Week schedule.
