We are looking for CSR Specialist to join our team!


Reporting to the Public Affairs Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of foodpanda’s public policy strategy, corporate social responsibility, and sustainability programmes to optimize the business and operating environment. Working collaboratively with various business functions in foodpanda, the successful candidate will be a key contributor in maintaining the company’s good reputation and standing among the communities in which we operate.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of foodpanda’s internal public policy strategy and programmes on topics relating to the tech and food delivery sector;
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in supporting the implementation of foodpanda’s public affairs, CSR and sustainability programmes; key tasks include: doing research work, stakeholder meetings and discussions; events planning and execution; drafting of letters, MOAs, and other relevant documents; and other related tasks.
  • Help build foodpanda’s stakeholder network within the public sector, academia, professional associations, NGOs, and more, both at the central and local levels (travel to provinces, regional company offices, and other key locations are required)
  • Assist in the planning and execution of CSR and sustainability efforts, and other relevant initiatives; engage in partnerships with government agencies, local government units, and/or NGOs to drive our CSR and sustainability programs
  • Help identify and pursue partnerships with government agencies, key opinion leaders, or credible organizations to build thought leadership


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, Communications Research, Social Development, Public Administration, or related course
  • 1-3 years experience in public affairs, government agency work, community relations, CSR/sustainability, or other related fields
  • Experience in digital platforms (e.g. food delivery, TNVS) is a plus
  • Experience in legislative lobbying is a plus
  • Background in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, startup/tech environments preferred.
  • Fluency in English (our corporate language) and great communication skills.
