We are currently looking for candidates to fill the following roles:
The role will be focused on various tolling and turnkey plants for the daily work within the E2E Performance Team to deliver KPI targets. A 3P Planner will be expected to work with 3P suppliers to ensure our finished goods are available based on production schedule as well as communicate back to a broader team if there are delays/changes that impact product availability. As such, the 3P Planner has a very significant impact on customer experience and overall supply chain performance for pack and bulk finished goods which will filter down to product availability concerns for our customers. This is mostly an operational and tactical role, but a successful applicant will also need to show commercial knowledge when taking into account inventory targets across each regional distribution centers including technical knowledge in creating reports, dashboard, and data analytics.
A successful applicant will require:
Pack finished good planning from a Shell owned Lube Oil Blend Plants (LOBPs)
The supply planner in charge of pack finished good planning at the LOBPs will manage the pack portfolio for 1-2 LOBPs in the North American Shell network. This task will require daily use of Shell’s planning systems to determine production quantities at a material level to ensure that customer service metrics are delivered across the network while also balancing how much inventory is built to help keep working capital stay at proper levels.
Management of inventory settings and helping with order prioritization
The supply planner will manage the inventory and prioritization at the RDCs will work to set inventory targets across all SKUs at each RDC in their remit to help manage customer delivery targets vs. the inventory $ at each site. This planner will review monthly proposals for inventory targets and then make trade off decisions as needed based on RDC physical capacity and customer expectations. These planners will also help launch new products as they are introduced to the portfolio.
Coordination of deployment activities of pack and bulk finished goods between Shell sites.
Finally, the supply planner that coordinate deployment activities will review a region of the US and Canada daily to build truck load shipments between Shell sites (these are broken into South, Northeast and West/Canada). The planner will manage the movement of package goods between RDCs as well as bulk goods between LOBPs based on the region they support. These planners will also support the Deployment Inbox which is the gateway for Customer Ops to work with the team on product availability problems for customer orders.

The purpose of the Additives Planner role is to plan and schedule all inbound components to a blending facility and toller third party plants in North America to ensure that additives are available to deliver the bulk and pack production plan each day. This role has an indirect influence to ensure a high customer service index (CSI) score as well as meeting internal supply chain metrics such as inventory targets (DIO) and on time/in full delivery (OTIF).
These roles will be focused on 2-5 plants for the daily work but will also be expected to be able to cover other areas of the US network as needed and work within the E2E Performance Team to deliver team targets. An additive planner will be expected to work with the operations team at the plant(s) to ensure additives are available for the daily production schedule as well as communicate back to a broader team if there are delays/changes that impact product availability. As such, the Additives Planner has a very significant impact on customer experience and overall supply chain performance for pack and bulk finished goods, as if the components are not available then the production schedule will be negatively impacted, which will filter down to product availability concerns for our customers. This is mostly an operational and tactical role, but a successful applicant will also need to show commercial knowledge when taking in to account inventory targets for their portfolio.
Mainly managing the inbounds for additives, this role includes management of truck schedule, railcar/railyard traffic management and cost management (demurrage, logistics, etc)
The Additives planner also owns and manages all master data / buffers for their respective plants and portfolio ensuring that this is regularly updated and reflects what the current need is.
The US Lubricants packed network consists of 6 Lube Oil Blend Plants and 7 Regional Distribution Centers, with pack and bulk product moving amongst all of these sites daily.

- Learning a planning system (DDMRP) and using it in the daily standard work.
- Changing customer expectations across multiple market segments and the associated complexities that this will bring.
- Supporting various new product launches and transitions, and coordinating with PLM and other teams to deliver on customer expectations.
- Working through competing priorities, especially around inventory and customer delivery targets.
- Working virtually with 3P suppliers, contract holders, and other relevant stakeholders.
- The 3P Planner will be 1 in a team of 8 people focusing on these tasks.
- This role will be based in Manila.
- Will need to have customer focus as a priority; understanding how the planning of finished goods directly impacts customers' experience with Shell.
- Regular engagements with the 3P suppliers, contract holders, and other planning teams as needed.
- Interaction with other Lubricants Supply Chain teams to coordinate and deliver value saving opportunities.
- Focus on various reports and drive root cause fixes to increase performance.
Pack finished good planning from a Shell owned Lube Oil Blend Plants (LOBPs)
The supply planner in charge of pack finished good planning at the LOBPs will manage the pack portfolio for 1-2 LOBPs in the North American Shell network. This task will require daily use of Shell’s planning systems to determine production quantities at a material level to ensure that customer service metrics are delivered across the network while also balancing how much inventory is built to help keep working capital stay at proper levels.

- Broader E2E Performance team (Houston based)
- Coordination with production scheduling team as needed (plant based) as well as the materials scheduling team (Manila based)
- Customer Ops and Lubricants Sales
- PLM and Project Delivery teams
- 3P Operators throughout RDC network
- The supply planner will be 1 in a team of 11 people focusing on these tasks
- This role will be based in Manila and the manager will be located on site
- Will need to have a strong customer focus to meet the ever-changing needs of the market + deliver OTIF targets
- Regular engagements with the production scheduling team, materials scheduling team and logistics focal points for addressing issues and continuous improvement opportunities
- Interaction with other Lubricants Supply Chain teams to coordinate and deliver value saving opportunities
- Focus on DDMRP compliance individually and drive root cause fixes of issues instead of working around the problems

- Interaction with other Lubricants Supply Chain teams to coordinate and deliver value saving opportunities
- Focus on DDMRP compliance individually and drive root cause fixes of issues instead of working around the problems
- With at least 3 years of relevant work experience
- Amenable to a 6 months fixed-term/project contract
