Project Manager

Varsity Co-op is looking for new members to be part of the Varsiteam! We’re looking for individuals who are forward thinking, organized, and can take the lead.

Job Description

• Work with the Accounts Manager to manage and handle clients on deadlines, submissions, updates, pitches, and all other forms of correspondence. Build a good relationship with clients, and open up Varsity to more projects under them
• Attend to clients during on-ground interactions such as shoots, events, meetings, and the like;
• Attend meetings, events, and any relevant in-person interactions for client-servicing purposes;
• Update entire team on projects during team meetings;
• Produce any needed content for the assigned accounts, as well as manage the given budget for each project;
• Oversee the coordination with suppliers for day-to-day briefings, production, scoping, proposals, revisions, updates, payments, and project closure;
• Produce templated memorandum of agreements to various suppliers when needed in each project
• Coordinate with the in-house creative and strategy team for briefs, work, scheduling, etc; and
• Coordinate with the Accounts Manager, for client issues, requirements, payments, etc.
• Undergo training pertinent to the job description

Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years of experience and background in Operations Management, Marketing, Advertising, Client Relations, and Project Management.
• Demonstrates interest on topics like business strategy, technology trends, social media trends, retail marketing, and the like.
• Ability to direct, lead and innovate. Ability to overcome resistance to change while preparing and supporting those affected by change.
• Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Exhibits skill in collaborating and partnering in order to garner support and build trusting relationships, partnerships and alliances with various groups and interests.
