The Project Management Specialist lead projects and initiatives within Collections Department that will help the business through business analysis, change management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams

What You’ll Do

  • Accountable for the effective delivery of projects for streams and businesses
  • Deliver effective and clear reporting of progress
  • Provide sound updates to stakeholders and executives
  • Prepare and maintain all project lifecycle documentation
  • Show ownership and management of project risks and issues, ensuring the correct escalation route is followed.
  • Proactively identify delivery and support problems
  • Clearly communicate expectations to team members and stakeholders.
  • Build collaborative relationships
  • Comfortable in leading touchpoint meetings with the goal of driving action and/or get agreements.
  • Communicate concepts tailored to target audience from subject matter experts to executives.
  • Manage changes, ensuring any changes are assessed; impact and way forward are agreed with the correct parties.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate project team members on a proactive basis
  • Plan and lead change readiness to ensure proper roll out of any project and change initiatives
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from senior management and other department

What You Need To Have

  • At least 1-2 years of Project Management Experience or related
  • Demonstrated ability to lead deliver and implement projects preferably from Banks and Financial institutions.
  • Previous experience of balancing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity
  • Familiar with project management and agile delivery methodologies and toolsets
  • Comfortable with numbers and reporting tools
  • Experience in leading Steering Committees
  • Experience putting together presentations for executives
  • Experience in project performance reporting
