Project Associate Manager

Job Summary:

As a Project Manager with our PMO Office, you will take ownership of managing and delivering projects, of all complexities within your designated subfunction. This role requires a deep understanding of project management practices, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capability to navigate challenges across timelines, budgets, and resources. Partnering closely with the PM Subfunction Lead, you will ensure that projects meet delivery standards, meet and/or exceed expectations, and promote best practices across the subfunction.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management and Oversight

Manage and oversee the delivery of projects within the subfunction, ensuring they meet scope, quality, timeline, and budget expectations. Overflow PM support for creative projects within other subfunctions when there is open capacity.

Develop and maintain project plans, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.

Monitor and analyze project health metrics to identify trends, areas of improvement, and potential roadblocks.

Run Workfront with excellence, following our best practice guidance.

Resource Planning and Optimization

Ensure projects are adequately resourced throughout the project duration in collaboration with Coordinating Producers and Intake / Scheduling team.

Collaborate with the Subfunction Lead, regional project managers, and CPs to resolve resource challenges and balance workloads.

Accurately forecast resource needs for projects.

Act as a key escalation point for resource conflicts for your projects, providing creative and effective solutions.

Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication

Engage with stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and alignment across teams.

Provide regular project updates, keep all communications in Workfront, share insights to stakeholders, highlighting risks, opportunities, and progress.

Facilitate collaboration across project teams, ensuring clarity on roles, responsibilities, and expectations.

Problem Solving and Issue Resolution

Proactively identify and address project risks, scope increase, timeline slippages, or budget overruns by following our global processes.

Work closely with project teams and the Subfunction Lead to resolve issues and remove roadblocks, ensuring minimal disruption to project delivery.

Drive innovative solutions for complex challenges through effective teamwork and collaboration.

Continuous Improvement and Best Practices

Champion adherence to project management tools, Workfront, the DAM etc, methodologies, and best practices across the subfunction.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and partner with the Subfunction Lead to implement enhancements.

Share knowledge and learnings from complex project experiences to upskill and inspire the broader project management community.

Must Have:

Strong marketing, branding, or advertising background

Proven expertise in managing complex and high-impact projects ideally within a creative environment.

Strong focus on operational project health, including resource management, forecasting, and budget oversight.

Advanced knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Workfront, SynOps, or similar platforms).

Skilled in resource planning, budget tracking, and data analysis to drive actionable insights.
