Program and Project Management Specialist

Job Summary:

This role is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Specialist with strong project management and business analysis capabilities, and a solid background in risk and compliance. The role is responsible for delivering high-impacting and cross-functional initiatives, drives process improvements, and ensures compliance with internal controls and external regulations. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently while collaborating across departments to deliver results.

Business Analysis

Analyze as-is, gaps and to-be processes to define operational/system/technology requirements

Understand, capture and translate customer problems, objectives, and needs/requirements into implementable business solutions to enable long-term success

Exhibit innovative mindset to be able to recommend new ways to operate

Ensure technology solutions represent current and future business requirements

Project Management

Effective project management - Create work plans which define scope, resources, milestones, quality, risk, deliverables, and acceptance criteria in agreement with the customer

Identify, raise and mitigate deliverables risks vis-a-vis project plan

Risk & Compliance

Provide leadership and guidance to junior risk & compliance analyst

Partner with stakeholders to ensure project alignment with compliance objectives and organizational strategy.

Contribute to compliance assessments, audits, and internal reviews by monitoring, providing documentation and process insights.

Keep current with industry regulations and developments; assess their impact on business operations and support change initiatives stemming from new or evolving requirements.

Must have:

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree Or Relevant Business Experience

Skills and Work Experience

Must have:

5 to 6 years of experience in business analysis, and project management

2 to 3 years of experience in people management

Proficiency with project management tools and business analysis techniques.

Proven experience in risk and compliance-related projects (e.g., regulatory reporting, internal controls, data governance).

Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as SOX, GDPR/DPA, ISO 27001, or similar.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal with ability to work with experience working with cross-functional teams including legal, audit, and operations.

Excellent active listening skills and good presentation skills

Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
