Production Costing Officer
Mandaue Foam Industries, Inc.
The Production Costing Officer helps the Supervisor to oversee all the operations with regards to the costing of standard and customized items. Ensures that all performed tasks are aligned with the company’s standards.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Ensures all received costing inquiries are catered within the standard lead time.
2.Ensures all technical drawings conform to customer specifications.
3.Monitors costing and technical staffs’ daily output based on their monitoring sheet for productivity and efficiency purposes.
4.Generates costing for newly developed standard and customized items.
5.Coordinates with Purchasing team in canvassing new raw materials needed to produce customized items.
6.Provides the complete bill of materials to the production heads for the construction of the customized items.
7.Assist marketing and merchandiser’s team in the development of new local products.
8.Coordinates with purchasing team for price updates of existing raw materials and performs recosting when necessary or as advised by the top management.
9.Provides inputs to the Production Coordinator in terms of cost-effectiveness in finding alternative raw materials in case of stock-outs.
10.Provides and develops automatic pricing excel program for Sales Personnel so that we can provide a price to the customer immediately.
10.Answers costing-related concerns from Sales Personnel and Production Managers from all branches.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or any related course.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and macros).
- Familiarity with costing software such as SAP, Oracle, or specialized tools like ProPricer, Costimator, etc.
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for tracking costs, materials, and labor.
