The Opportunity

The Product Specialist will be assigned to grow assigned territory, devise and execute business plans that capture key issues and opportunities, aligned with brand strategies and KPIs. The hire is also expected to develop a cooperative working relationship with key HCPs and key treatment centers within the territory of responsibility in relation to the brands Nuelin, Duromine, Aldara, Tambocor, Senokot & Betadine Feminine Care. The role is based in Davao, Mindanao.

Key Accountabilities And Performance Indicators Include

  • To ensure achievement of 100% vs sales target, and achievement of growth targets on an annual basis of the brands Nuelin, Duromine, Aldara, Tambocor, Senokot & Betadine Feminine Care.
  • To select and develop the right MD target to be included in his master list, implement a territory business plan, proposing and executing special programs, at the same time complying with company policies and procedures, industry and government guidelines, authority approval limits, strategic directions and in accordance with internal (iNova) policies and external policies (international or local, whichever is more stringent).
  • To be considered an expert in product knowledge and can converse eloquently (detailing skills) to key HCPs and centers of excellence in relation to the assigned brands.
  • High competency in analyzing therapeutic areas and brand competition profile to be able to present a focused, effective and efficient territory business plan.
  • Has above average understanding of internal business information sources like Drug Distribution Data, Field Sales Report, Market profile and be able to use this for a sound territory business plan.
  • Ability to execute territory business plan with purpose, speed and scale, and be able to do timely and accurate documentation and post activity report in a timely manner.
  • Above average competency in fostering teamwork and close coordination with internal partners (Sales, Marketing, Sales Force Effectiveness, Finance, and Medical) in the completion of daily tasks
  • To be able to conduct business visits to at least 10 key doctors on a daily basis.
  • To ensure that all supply chains have adequate inventory at any given time by achieving close coordination and partnership with trade sales partners, distributors and key business accounts.
  • To be able to conduct product presentations with ease, confidence and competency to key HCPs and key centers as part of providing information and education on the brands


About You

  • Graduate of any 4-year college course preferably business or science related.
  • At least 3-4 years of relevant experience as a medical representative/ product specialist in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Must have basic operational knowledge and experience in operating personal computers and Microsoft Office applications, particularly with Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must possess adequate driving skills and holder of a valid driver’s license
