Product Risk Manager

About The Role

As a Product Risk Manager, you will develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework for the specific asset product for the Retail Bank, its subsidiaries and affiliates through policy creation and modifications, oversight of policy / procedures implementation, portfolio analysis, risk identification and assessment, as well as monitoring and controls of identified risks.

How you'll contribute

• Performs regular reviews, analysis and monitoring of the retail credit products portfolio of the Bank, its subsidiaries and affiliates through report generation, data analysis and limits monitoring to ensure pro-active identification of emergent risks as well as existing risks and opportunities for enhancing risk management
• Reviews policies, guidelines and manuals and closely coordinates with business units to support profitable business growth through appropriate and adequate risk management controls and capabilities
• Communicates the overall performance and risk assessment of the retail credit portfolio based on portfolio data, market information and economic factors to enhance the awareness of relevant risks across Management for effective decision-making and strategy formulation
• Continuously reviews, assesses and implements credit policies and procedures to ensure implementation of the risk management framework and compliance to regulations
• Plans various tasks and responsibilities through proper time allocation, prioritization and calculated decision making to achieve optimal execution of job function
  
  

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's or College degree holder in Computer Science/Information Technology, Mathematics/Statistics, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Economics, Finance/ Accountancy/Banking, Management Information Systems (MIS)
• At least 4 years of relevant experience, with background on Risk Management principles, Portfolio Analysis,
• Knowledgeable in Python and SAS is an advantage
• Highly Analytical; Skilled in programming, report creation, data management, project management and presentation skills
• Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and external parties
• Has the ability to adjust to a dynamic environment; Good attention to details; Has the ability and willingness to constantly improve and automate current processes
