As a Process Improvement Associate I within OEO, you will be responsible for creating solutions that enhance business processes using low code/no code tools.

OEO provides Home Lending with innovative tools to better serve customers, guides employees through change and ensures successful adherence to core functions and regulatory requirements. OEO is the centralized utility responsible for managing business change, resolving escalated customer complaints, developing automated business solutions, executing program management, leading employee readiness, responding to employee feedback, ensuring proper fee treatments, processing vendor invoices and providing oversight and foundational support.

The Process Improvement Associate I – 601 is responsible for creating solutions that enhance business processes using low code/no code tools. Key responsibilities include reviewing business requirements, assisting in project management, participating in configuration and design, conducting application testing, and managing client relationships. The role also involves maintaining scalable solutions, creating executive presentations, and customizing reports for data-driven decision-making.

Job Responsibilities

  • Review and understand business requirements and determine feasibility of development
  • Assist in project management, supporting the delivery cycle of the project
  • Participate in the end-to-end configuration process including conceptualization, design and development
  • Conduct application testing to validate functionality and performance
  • Manage internal client relationships between the business, finance, key stakeholders, and solution users
  • Maintain support for internally built solutions ensuring scalability and robustness
  • Create executive-level presentations and status updates provided to clients and stakeholders
  • Customize reports to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making

Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or college level required, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in solution development using Microsoft Power App or similar workflow applications for external applicants.
  • Internal applicants must have at least 1 year of applied experience in workflow application development platforms such as Microsoft Power App or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills, logical reasoning, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Analytical Thinking: Systematically organizes, compares, and evaluates information to identify key insights.
  • Communication: Effectively conveys complex financial concepts and calculations to management and stakeholders.
  • Problem Solving: Distinguishes between symptoms and root causes to address issues effectively.
  • Project Management: Leads or actively participates in projects, supporting design, programming, analysis, testing, and implementation.
  • Relationship Building: Practices strategies to strengthen and maintain productive relationships, managing client expectations both internally and externally.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills

  • Demonstrated expertise in the home lending/mortgage lifecycle, with hands-on experience designing and developing solutions using SharePoint Online and Power Platform (Power Apps & Power Automate).
  • Skilled in building canvas and model-driven apps in Power Apps, including UI/UX design and implementing business logic through formulas and expressions.
  • Proficient in designing and automating workflows in Power Automate, as well as migrating InfoPath and SharePoint Designer solutions to the Power Platform.
  • Experienced in integrating data sources such as SharePoint, Dataverse, and Excel, and utilizing advanced Power Platform features like AI Builder, Power Virtual Agents, and custom connectors.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Teams integration, JIRA story creation, Confluence and SharePoint management, and data mining/transformation tools (e.g., Alteryx, Trifacta, SQL, Oracle, Toad, Visual Studio).
  • Applies best practices for solution design, performance, security, and maintainability throughout the software development life cycle.
  • Core competencies include collaboration, strategic thinking, adaptability, growth mindset, and strong presentation skills for engaging senior management and stakeholders.
