Process Design Engineer (Australian Client)

Position Summary:
The primary objective of the Process Engineer role is to generate process designs for water treatment
solutions tailored to the unique needs of our Healthcare, Commercial, and Industrial clients. This role
involves designing, developing, and optimising water treatment processes to ensure they meet regulatory
standards and client specifications.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
• Process Design – Develop detailed process designs for water treatment systems, including
preliminary and detailed engineering for new projects and modifications to existing systems.
• Technical Expertise – Provide technical support and guidance on water treatment processes,
including filtration, disinfection, chemical dosing, and waste management.
• Client Collaboration – Work closely with clients to understand their needs, conduct site
assessments, and propose tailored water treatment solutions.
• Regulatory Compliance – Ensure all designs and processes comply with applicable regulations and
standards for water treatment.
• Innovation and Optimisation: Continuously seek opportunities to improve and optimise water
treatment processes, maximising implementation of imported products and incorporating the latest
technologies and best practices.
• Documentation – Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including process
flow diagrams, P&IDs, specifications, and operational manuals.
• Team Collaboration – Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including sales, operations, and
maintenance staff, to ensure seamless integration and implementation of water treatment solutions.
• Training and Support – Provide training and technical support to internal personnel on the function
and operation of the engineered water treatment systems
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in process design for water treatment solutions.
• Strong understanding of water treatment processes and technologies, including filtration, reverse
osmosis, UV disinfection, and chemical treatment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and
external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of industry standards, regulations and best practices in water treatment
• Willingness to work to Australasian Working Hours
• Willingness to work or relocate in Angeles City.
Desirable:
• Experience in planning and executing commissioning of water treatment systems
• Experience in developing control philosophies for water treatment systems
