  • Developing, maintaining, and managing the company's business continuity program in accordance to AIA Group BCM Policy and Standards. The person will support all activities necessary to AIA and its affiliates to respond to any business interruption
  • Work closely with all stakeholders to implement BCM in accordance with Group BCM Policy and Standards, and all other relevant local regulatory requirements
  • Work with senior members of the Operations and Risk leadership teams to ensure that remediation plans are implemented and tracked accordingly
  • Maintain the corporate wide business continuity program that addresses disaster recovery, business recovery and emergency response management.
  • Manage the maintenance of the BC/Recovery site aligned with the business requirements of AIA and affiliates.
  • Develop, produce and update BIAs, business continuity plans & disaster recovery (BCP/DR) materials and documentation (e.g., plans, emergency response procedures, call lists, test results, etc.).
  • Plan and coordinate all business continuity technical and user testing.
  • Work closely with IT, Operations, and other business units to develop/maintain DR plans for critical systems and applications and to ensure that internal recovery sites are updated and functioning properly. This includes reviewing business impact analysis reports and conducting challenge sessions to ensure appropriate tiering and RTO/MTPD levels are assigned.
  • Liaise with Business Continuity Coordinators (locally and regionally) to develop effective working relationships.
  • Perform risk analyses for functional areas to identify points of vulnerability, single points of failure and identify risk avoidance and mitigation strategies.
  • Assist in crisis management in the event of a business interruption.
  • Develop status reports (e.g., report cards) on departmental continuity plans and prepare management reports as necessary.
  • Analyze and report on implications of regulatory requirements and industry guidance on BCP/DR programs.
  • Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other requirements.
  • Involve in End User Services or Infrastructure related projects and BAU when required.
Minimum Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 5-7 years’ Experience in actively developing and supporting business continuity programs for a Financial Services or Technology company
  • Globally recognized BCM certification (CBCI/CBCP) is preferred
  • Hands-on experience in Project Management as well as experience in risk management, emergency planning and crisis management.
  • Possess strong leadership skills
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS office products (PowerPoint, excel, etc.)
  • Self-starter with the ability to work with a great degree of autonomy.
