Parameta Solutions is the Data & Analytics division of TP ICAP Group. The business provides clients with unbiased OTC content and proprietary data, in-depth insights across price discovery, risk management, benchmark and indices, and pre and post-trade analytics. Its post-trade solutions offering helps market participants control their counterparty and regulatory risks through a growing range of tools that manage balance-sheet exposure, as well as compression and optimisation services. The Data & Analytics division includes the following brands: Tullett Prebon Information, PVM Data Services, ICAP Information and Burton-Taylor Consulting.
Role Overview
The Energy & Commodities (E&C) Price Reporting Analyst (PRA) will serve as a key Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the Parameta Solutions Price Reporting team, focusing on the accurate modelling and validation of E&C market data. This role is critical to ensuring the integrity, transparency, and reliability of price assessments across global energy and commodities markets. The PRA will leverage deep market knowledge to enhance data quality, optimize modelling processes, and support strategic initiatives across the PVM, TP ICAP, ICAP, and Parameta brands.
The successful candidate will combine analytical skills with commercial awareness, acting as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and contributing to the development of innovative solutions that meet client and regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the modelling and validation of E&C market data within the London Price Reporting team.
Ensure price assessments reflect market fundamentals, liquidity conditions, and trading behaviours.
Apply advanced analytical techniques to identify anomalies and maintain data integrity.
Act as the global SME for E&C markets, including trading strategies, market structures, and business cycles.
Provide expert insights into TP ICAP E&C broking desks, pricing methodologies, and trading technologies.
Deliver knowledge transfer sessions to enhance team capability in E&C modelling.
Review and refine price reporting processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards.
Troubleshoot data inconsistencies using price discovery techniques and market intelligence.
Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in modelling workflows.
Collaborate with broking desks, data operations, and technology teams to align modelling practices with commercial objectives.
Support client queries and contribute to the development of bespoke pricing solutions.
Promote best practices and foster a culture of data excellence within the team.
Assist with broader Price Reporting activities, including cross-asset coverage and strategic projects.
Contribute to regulatory compliance efforts and support audit requirements where applicable.
Experience / Competencies
Essential
Experience in market data analysis or price reporting within energy and commodities markets.
Understanding of E&C market dynamics, trading relationships, and price formation.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex datasets and deliver actionable insights.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal English, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Desired
Familiarity with OTC and listed commodity products, including derivatives.
Knowledge of price reporting methodologies and regulatory frameworks (e.g., IOSCO principles).
Proficiency in data analysis tools or visualization platforms (e.g., Python, Power BI, Tableau).
Exposure to broking environments and trading technologies.
