Job Description
The PMO Lead ensures the strategic direction, governance, and outcome of the specific project is aligned with its target benefits and in compliance or alignment with NTG’s processes, enablement, risk management and cost management. This includes data management of build and identifying continuous improvements along the build process.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Program Enablement Management: Support the implementation and enablement of programs to achieve strategic goals.
- MDB Administration and Filtering: Manage the Master Data Base (MDB), ensuring accurate data entry, filtering, and maintenance.
- Build Progress, Insights, and Outcome Measurements: Track build progress, provide insights, and measure outcomes against predetermined targets.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and facilitate risk and issue resolutions.
- Facilitating Issue Resolutions and Scope Changes: Facilitate the resolution of project issues and manage changes in project scope to ensure project continuity.
- OKRs and other Key Reports: Generate, review, and provide insights and analytics based on the data gathered and present to recipients for action items and next steps.
- Vendor/Contract Management: Oversee vendor relationships and contract management, including performance evaluations and negotiations.
- Process Improvements: Identify areas for improvement and drive process optimization initiatives.
- Stakeholder Reporting: Prepare and present reports to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Project Scoping, Prioritization, and Change Management: Facilitate project scoping sessions, prioritize projects based on strategic importance, and manage changes and cost variations effectively.
- BSC Measurements: Measure and report on Balanced Scorecard (BSC) metrics to track performance at the national level.
- Documentation and Reporting: Ensure thorough documentation of project activities and drive the completion of H2Ops and national reports.
- NTC Data Reports: Manage NTC data, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
- Permits Issue Management: Handle and resolve issues related to obtaining and managing permits.
- Training and Knowledge Development: Provide training and development opportunities to enhance project management skills across the organization.
- Contracts and Budget Management: Oversee contract negotiations and manage project budgets to ensure financial efficiency and compliance.
- Supporting Mobile, Broadband and B2B KPIs - i.e. congestion, coverage, Ookla consistency, network availability, E2E TPIR, network availability and others as approved.
- Project Portfolio - comprehensive report on project charter, standards, enablements, processes, dashboards including resources (vendors/ contractors/ partners) involved.
- Performance Metrics - Key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for success including project benefits target.
- Stakeholder communication - engagement plans, regular updates and comms to Steercos, Stakeholders and Senior Leadership.
- Quality Assurance - quality management plans, audit reports, feedback and corrective action plans /documentation as a result of findings during the build process.
- Vendor Management - vendor performance reports, contracts and SLAs.
