Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
  • Collect, process, and analyze payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute payroll reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends or discrepancies.
  • Create ad-hoc reports for management and stakeholders as needed.
  • Use historical data (payroll, interactions, etc.) to predict and forecast trends and staffing needs.
  • Data Transformation & Automation:
  • Translate payroll data into importable formats compatible with payroll and HRIS systems to streamline data integration.
  • Build, test, and maintain Excel macros and scripts to automate repetitive tasks, ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance data workflows and reduce manual intervention.
  • Payroll Processing Support:
  • Collaborate with payroll teams to verify and reconcile payroll data, including employee hours, deductions, taxes, and benefits.
  • Assist in processing payroll on a regular schedule, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Insights & Recommendations:
  • Interpret payroll data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Present findings and recommendations to management to support decision-making.
  • Provides schedule and interval staffing recommendations based on forecasted volumes and trends.


  5. Documentation & Training

  • Develop and maintain payroll process documentation, data management guidelines, and macro instructions.
  • Train payroll team members on data analysis tools, import procedures, and best practices for using macros.


Key Qualifications

  • Education: Degree in Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience in payroll, data analysis, or a related field.
  • High proficiency with data extraction and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
  • 1+ years experience in forecasting and workforce management.
  • Skills:
  • High proficiency in English (written and verbal) with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of US payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
