About The Role (What You'll Be Doing)
- Prepare and process accurate fortnightly payroll for AU companies in accordance with awards, agreements, company policies and legislation in appropriate timeframes.
- Proactive in collating global payroll inputs and submitting updates to third-party vendors with effective instructions and within the required timelines.
- Review and process employee timesheet for payroll.
- Employee expenses reconciliation and report.
- Prepare AU payroll tax and superannuation calculation for lodgement.
- Month-end leave balance reconciliation and report.
- Support end of month activities and payroll reports.
- Work with People team and maintain system data to ensure employee personnel files remain up to date.
- Responding to employee and manager queries in a timely and accurate manner.
- Other ad-hoc tasks as required.
- Sound understanding of AU payroll legislation
- Detail-oriented, consistently delivering accurate and high-quality work.
- Effective time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication skills.
- Dedication to providing excellent customer service.
- Capability to meet deadlines within a team environment.
- 2+ years experience in a relevant role (payroll administration or payroll officer)
- Nice to have AU, UK or Japan payroll experience.
- Knowledge of Excel
- Experience using Keypay, Deputy, BambooHR or Xero.
- Worked within a multi-company group
