Role Purpose:

The payroll associate is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of employee compensation, governmentmandated benefits, and deductions in compliance with Philippine labor laws and internal company policies.

This role ensures correct computation, recording, and disbursement of salaries, handling end to end payroll processing, and addressing employee payroll inquiries,

Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing:

  • Assist in computing and processing the centralized payroll run on a semi-monthly payroll for employees, including 13th month pay processing, bonuses, and leave conversion.
  • Prepare maternity and magna carta registers if any.
  • Validates HRD file vs the ELR as proactive way of checking and ensuring smooth payroll process


Statutory Compliance:

  • Ensures that the employee contribution and loan deductions such as SSS, Philhealth, and Pag-Ibig were included timely and accurately in the payroll process.
  • Assist the team leader on the annualization of compensation, including the gathering of BIR 2316 of new hires, completion or monitoring of other documentation requirements, and the distribution of BIR 2316 to the employees.


Employee Service and Support:

  • Respond and provide resolution to payroll-related inquiries, such as payroll disputes, pay slip clarifications, timekeeping concerns, government mandated deductions, loan balances or applications, and tax clarifications.
  • Assist employees in opening payroll accounts forms, if any.
  • Assist with the clearance and final pay computation for the resigned or terminated employees.


Records and Documentation Retention:

  • Maintain and back-up Employee List Report (ELR) daily.
  • Assist in the maintenance of all payroll-related files following strict confidentiality and data integrity.
  • Month end and Audit Support:
  • Provides reconciliation of payroll reports with the accounting team for proper recording of expenses.
  • Assist any audit documentation requirements during internal or external audits, if any.


Others:

  • Ensure that all tasks and procedures are done according to company policies, code of conduct, and employee manual.
  • Assist with any ad-hoc project assignments, if any.


Role Requirements or Qualifications:

  • With at least 1 3 years of payroll experience, but fresh graduates with good scholastic records are welcome.
  • Impressive Character, Customer focused, interpersonal skills
  • Good at Problem Solving skills and highly analytical
  • Organized on Data Retention and Data Confidentiality
  • Willing to render overtime when needed
  • 100% Onsite schedule, mid shift, 10AM 7PM. Hybrid set-up may be provided after regularization, depending on the performance.
