Job Responsibilities

  • Assist his / her supervisor in developing OSH Management system to ensure the implementation of relevant OSH policies and procedure in CC in accordance with the statutory regulations and best practices.
  • Assist his/ her supervisor to oversee the overall management of the OSH program in accordance with the OSH committee.
  • Ensure a system is in place so that workplace accidents are thoroughly investigated and assist management in the implementation of strategies to identify and reduce the recurrence within the Property.
  • Frequently monitor and inspect any health or safety aspect of the operation being undertaken with the participation of the supervisor’s and workers.
  • Recommend OSH training and awareness requirements for employees, including an online OSH refresher training program. In conjunction with Business Units and Learning Academy, ensures training and awareness programs are developed and implemented in accordance with these requirements and ensure assessment of relevant individuals is complied.
  • Ensure compliance with the requirements of the local legislations and other OSH regulations.
  • Ensure the property is prepared for inspection of local government agencies, and assist the government inspectors in the conduct of safety and health inspection at any time whenever work is being performed or during the conduct of an accident investigation by providing necessary information and OSH reports as required by the OSH standards
  • Develop and implement an OSH auditing process to ensure that the employees comply with the relevant OSH Policies and Procedures.
  • Ensure the safety of staff, contractors and customers and stop any unsafe acts or processes the seem dangerous or unhealthy.
  • Perform other duties as required in accordance with all policies and procedures, laws and regulations, applicable to the Department and the Company.
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
  • Performs other reasonable job duties as assigned by superiors from time to time.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years experienced in a large volume base customer business or from other OSH critical industries such as Construction, Manufacturing or as outlined in.
  • Excellent verbal and written knowledge of English.
  • Experienced in the policy formulation and development, monitoring and evaluation and implementation of occupational safety and health management systems that is compliant and adheres to the Philippines and/ or international OSH standards and regulations.
  • Experience in liaising and cooperating with relevant government authorities and regulatory agencies.
  • Demonstrated capability of supporting over all business plans and the achievement of the OSH management objectives.
  • Tertiary level or 40 hours training equivalent (DOLE)
  • Completion of DOLE o accredited OSH training provider’s mandatory forty (40) hour Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) and an additional forty-eight (48) hours of advanced/ Specialized occupational safety training course relevant to the industry.
