Position Overview

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day business operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources. This role plays a critical part in strategic planning and execution, helping align operations with overall business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations and ensure processes run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement strategic plans that enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost controls to optimize operational expenditures.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including HR, Finance, IT, and Logistics to support business needs.
  • Enforce company policies and safety standards to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Lead, train, and mentor operations staff to promote high performance and professional development.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support change management initiatives and continuous process improvement efforts.

Qualifications

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in operations, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, Logistics, and Customer Service.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office and operational management software (e.g., ERP systems).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
