Job Overview

As an Operations Associate, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing payment systems by integrating and maintaining payment gateways, ensuring system reliability, security, and scalability. You will monitor transaction flows, implement fraud prevention measures, and ensure compliance with local and international regulations. Additionally, you will enhance the user payment experience by streamlining processes and addressing feedback, while building strong relationships with payment service providers. Data analysis and reporting will be key to tracking performance, and you will provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and maintain business continuity.

Your Responsibilities

• Technical Support & Issue Resolution: Deliver timely technical assistance, efficiently diagnosing and resolving payment-related issues while implementing contingency plans to ensure continuous operations.
• Payment Gateway Integration and Oversight: Manage the integration and upkeep of multiple payment gateways, ensuring the system’s scalability, reliability, and security.
• Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Ensure all payment processes comply with local and international regulations, proactively addressing potential risks and maintaining regulatory standards.
• Transaction Monitoring & Fraud Prevention: Monitor transaction flows, implementing fraud detection and prevention measures to safeguard operations and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Enhancing User Payment Experience: Streamline payment processes to minimize friction, boost conversion rates, and gather feedback to enhance user experience and address pain points.
• Relationship Management with Vendors & Partners: Build and maintain strong relationships with payment service providers to ensure smooth collaboration and service continuity.
• Data Analysis & Stakeholder Reporting: Analyze transaction data to monitor key performance indicators and prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders.
  
  

What Our Client Is Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree: Must hold a degree in any discipline.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience required.
• Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in the payments industry is essential.
• Relevant Work History: Previous experience with companies such as Lazada, GCash, Grab, or PayMaya or the likes is a MUST
• Sector Expertise: Deep understanding of the online entertainment, e-commerce, fintech, and digital marketplace sectors.
• Skills: Exceptional skills in negotiation, communication, and presentation.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Filipino, with additional local language skills considered advantageous.
• Sales Aptitude: Demonstrated proficiency in sales and negotiation.
• Attention to Detail: Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts and schedules.
• Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in PC operations and office software such as MS Word, MS Excel, and Google Suite.
