Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Operations Administrative/ E- commerce Operations Assistant to support the day-to-day functions of our ecommerce operations team. This role is focused on order entry, processing shipments, generating purchase orders, and tracking orders across multiple systems and vendors. The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and capable of juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced, online retail environment.

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Operations Administrative/ E- commerce Operations Assistant to support the day-to-day functions of our ecommerce operations team. This role is focused on order entry, processing shipments, generating purchase orders, and tracking orders across multiple systems and vendors. The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and capable of juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced, online retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter customer orders into our ecommerce and ERP systems
- Process and prepare outbound shipments, including generating shipping labels and documentation
- Create and manage purchase orders for vendors and internal stock replenishment
- Track the status of open orders and coordinate with vendors, carriers, and fulfillment centers
- Communicate with internal teams regarding order status, delays, or fulfillment issues
- Maintain accurate records in spreadsheets, order systems, and shared files
- Support ad hoc administrative and operational tasks to ensure order flow continuity
- 1-3 years of experience in an administrative or operations support role, preferably in ecommerce, retail, or supply chain
- High proficiency with Google Workspace (G Suite): Sheets, Docs, Gmail, Drive, and Calendar
- Experience with order processing platforms such as Shopify, ShipStation, BigCommerce, SellerCloud, or similar (preferred)
- Strong data entry and documentation skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working with vendors, logistics partners, and internal cross-functional teams
- Basic knowledge of shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS) and fulfillment processes
- Familiarity with ERP or inventory systems used in ecommerce operations
- Experience working with B2B orders, drop-shipping, or multi-channel sales
- Understanding of ecommerce order lifecycles and fulfillment workflows
- Interest in process improvement and scaling operational efficiencies
