Operational Excellence (Financial Operations) - SPX Express

The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

• Lead cross-functional projects on process improvement, cost management, and efficiency enhancement
• Analyze financial and operational data to support strategy and decision-making
• Conduct financial feasibility studies for new business initiatives or process changes
• Build and maintain financial models and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Prepare management reports, presentations, and insights for leadership
• Work closely with product, operations, legal, and other teams to drive financial process enhancements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in accounting, auditing or logistics
• Hands-on experience in finance operations, with a strong focus on payments, collections, and cash flow management
• Experience managing or improving order-to-cash (O2C, COD specific, Cash-On-Delivery) and/or procure-to-pay (P2P) processes, including reconciliation and issue resolution
• Ability to work with large transaction volumes, identify gaps in payment or collection flows, and drive process improvements
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to drive alignment and execution in a fast-paced environment
• Smart and strategic thinker with a holistic view, strong prioritization, and a client- and partner-oriented mindset
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with hands-on ownership and the ability to generate insights from data
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets for analysis and reporting
