Online Community Moderator (Discord)

GrowthAssistant is seeking a skilled and motivated Discord Online Community Moderator who will moderate channels, manage a team of moderators, and ensure a safe, engaging community. Strong conflict resolution, online community management experience, and familiarity with trading or influencer marketing are preferred.

Salary: Up to Php 60,000 depending on experience

Core Tasks:

• Monitor and moderate Discord channels to maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging community environment.
• Oversee high-volume activity during peak hours.
• Respond promptly to user inquiries and escalate technical or support-related issues to the appropriate team.
• Lead and manage part-time senior moderators and volunteer moderators to ensure consistent channel quality.
• Address and resolve inappropriate behavior, hacks, or technical issues affecting the community.
• Collaborate with the Customer Support team to align support strategies across all platforms.
• Provide an end-of-day recap via Discord to ensure effective communication and transparency.

Must Have:

• 2+ years of experience managing and moderating online communities (e.g., Discord, Reddit).
• Proven conflict resolution and moderation skills in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent written communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with trading, finance, or gamified online platforms.
• Experience managing volunteer teams or remote teams in online settings.
• Knowledge of affiliate and influencer marketing trends (e.g., engaging influencers and monitoring campaign performance).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php50,000.00 - Php60,000.00 per month
