The Role

The Merchandising Supervisor oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of store merchandising strategies. This role ensures that products are displayed effectively, inventory is well-managed, and sales objectives are met

Merchandising Strategy and Execution

• Implement merchandising plans that align with company goals and customer preferences.
• Ensure timely and accurate execution of promotional displays, seasonal setups, and in-store marketing campaigns.
  
  

Inventory Management

• Collaborate with inventory teams to maintain stock levels and ensure the availability of key products.
• Analyze sales data and identify trends to guide inventory adjustments and replenishment.
• Manage markdowns and clearance strategies to minimize shrinkage and maximize profitability.
  
  

Sales Support

• Work closely with store operations to identify opportunities to boost sales through effective merchandising.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends to maintain a competitive edge.
• Ensure product information and pricing are accurate and updated.
  
  

Collaboration and Communication

• Coordinate with the team to manage product launches and new arrivals.
• Provide feedback to the management team regarding customer preferences and sales performance.
• Maintain clear communication with store staff and management to align goals and expectations.
  
  

Ideal Profile

• You have at least 2 years experience ideally in Merchandising or Sales Operations / Sales Support within Consumer and Retail industry.
• Experience within would be a strong advantage.
• You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
• You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
• You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
• You are willing to undertake 30-60% travel.
