Mental Health Programs Management Director (Psychologist)

Job Purpose :

This job is responsible for overall management of the Corporate Mental Health Programs including the creation of its policies, programs, management of mental health network providers and supervision of mental health professionals providing mental health services to the company’s accounts and clients. The Director may also conduct seminars, workshops, mental health assessments and counseling sessions, either individually or in group, for company accounts, members and clients within the scope of his/her professional license to practice. This job includes overall management of the Psychological Services Unit/Clinic.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Corporate Mental health Program

• Review, prescribe, formulate and provide general guidance regarding the various mental health and wellness programs of the Company, including the modules and processes used by aligned staff.
• Establish network of mental health providers and professionals to support Company’s mental health programs.

2. Supervision

• Exercise oversight over mental health and wellness counselors and other staff, regardless of employment status or engagement, to ensure adherence to standard protocols and the requirements of the Company, subject to the guidance of the Head of the Medical Division and other such qualified and authorized executives of the Company.

3. Corporate Client Management

• Participate in meetings, case discussions, reviews and other forums that are relevant to the mental health and wellness programs of the Company.
• Represent the Company as needed to clients and other third parties in relation to matters involving the mental health and wellness programs and products of the Company.
• Assume other such tasks that are directly relevant to the promotion, maintenance and enhancement of the mental health and wellness programs of the Company, as determined by the Company and its leadership.

4. Head of Psychological Services Unit/Clinic

• Fully engaged and dedicated as the Head of the Psychological Services Unit
• Fully accountable for the PSU’s licensing (permit to operate), full operations and resources, hence, is expected to be present, at all times, when psychological services are rendered, unless there is another psychologist available to supervise the services rendered on a temporary basis, under his/her authority.

5. Practice of Psychology

• Exercise profession as a licensed psychologist in support of the mental health and wellness programs of the Company, either in a direct or supplementary capacity.
• Refer clients in need of advanced mental health and wellness support to the appropriate service providers and facilities in coordination with the Company, directing patients only to affiliated or accredited individuals or groups.

6. Reports

• Create, manage, and analyze appropriate and required reports related to the overall program and corporate account requirements.
• Design and implement action plans and new programs based on data gathered and reports generated.

7. Others

• Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, registered and licensed to practice Psychology
• At least seven (7) years’ experience as a psychologist, three (3) of which in supervisory capacity. Related work experience in corporate mental health programs is an advantage.
