Qualifications
- Graduate of BS in Health Information Management, Nursing, or related medical courses
- Must have knowledge and experience with ICD-10 coding and medical terminology
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Knowledge in PhilHealth documentation and encoding is an advantage
- Proficient in using EMR/EHR systems and MS Office
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Willing to work in Makati City
- Assign and verify ICD-10 codes for diagnoses and procedures in patient records
- Organize, file, and update patient medical documents and charts
- Ensure confidentiality and proper storage of all medical records
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and billing teams for accurate documentation
- Prepare records for audits, PhilHealth claims, and insurance processing
- Maintain accurate logs of patient visits, procedures, and coding activities
- Assist in tracking and retrieving charts as needed by the medical team
- Support compliance with data privacy and healthcare documentation standards
