Mechanical Engineer (Australian Client)

Position Summary:
The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for creating innovative designs and drawings and addressing any design
issues during production as they arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop concept solutions in response to customer requests
• Create Production Ready Models including weldments
• Test or Assess Welded Concepts for the required application
• Create & Present Concept model in a customer friendly format
• Discuss with suppliers on manufacturing constraints
• Develop Calculators for ease of mechanical calculations
• Create estimation drawings or Assembly Guides
• Create manufacturing drawings including weldments
• Train fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering to inductees

Specific Requirements:

• Knowledge of metal fabrication
• Mechanical Calculations / FEA analysis and reporting
• Engineering experience
• Customer Communication
• Supplier Communication
• Deliver information in response to project needs
• Deliver projects in response to compliance requirements
• General awareness of Australian standards or equivalent ISO standards
• Proficient in AutoDesk Inventor
• Willingness to work Australasian shift hours.
• Willingness to work onsite in Angeles City, Pampanga.
