Responsibilities
- Evaluate and select construction materials based on cost, performance, availability, and sustainability.
- Develop material testing plans and quality control procedures to ensure compliance with project standards.
- Inspect, test, and monitor materials on-site during construction to detect defects or non-conformances.
- Advise engineers and contractors on proper material selection, usage, and handling practices.
- Ensure accurate documentation of material testing, inspections, and final compliance checks.
- Support sustainable building practices by sourcing eco-friendly materials and promoting resource efficiency.
- Stay updated on emerging materials and technologies to improve future project outcomes.
- Foster strong supplier relationships and uphold company safety and regulatory standards."
- Licensed Civil Engineer
- Accredited DPWH Materials Engineer
- At least 3-5 of relevant experience in construction materials testing, quality control and materials
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in all Microsoft applications"
