About The Role
We’re looking for a detail-obsessed Marketing QA Specialist to join our team on a part-time freelance basis. You’ll play a vital role in reviewing and validating a wide range of marketing materials -from emails and social posts to landing pages, ads, PDFs, and creative assets -to ensure every deliverable meets our quality, brand, and compliance standards.
This is a highly structured, checklist-driven role that requires precision, consistency, and excellent communication skills. You’ll work closely with design, copywriting, and marketing team members to flag issues, ensure compliance, and improve creative output across the board.
What You’ll Be Doing
Review marketing assets (emails, landing pages, social posts, ads, PDFs, graphics, logos, etc.) for:
Spelling, grammar, and punctuation
Formatting, layout, and mobile responsiveness
Adherence to brand guidelines (colours, fonts, logos, tone)
Proper use of font licences, stock imagery, video, and graphic assets
Use and maintain a consistent checklist-based QA process
Compare final outputs with creative briefs to ensure spec accuracy
Track recurring issues and support documentation of QA patterns
Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams to flag and resolve inconsistencies
Support version control and asset tracking where needed
Requirements
2+ years of experience in a QA, brand governance, marketing assistant, or related role
Excellent written and verbal communication in English
Strong attention to detail in reviewing creative, design, or marketing content
Understanding of font usage rights and image licensing -and how to check them
Familiarity with tools such as Google Workspace, Canva, Adobe Suite, Asana, and Notion
Comfortable following structured checklists and delivering clear, constructive feedback
Ideal Candidate Profile
Naturally observant, organised, and process-driven
Confident but diplomatic when flagging issues or inconsistencies
Self-motivated and reliable - able to manage time and tasks independently
Comfortable working with international teams and supporting multiple stakeholders
Familiar with global brand standards and QA in a fast-moving marketing environment
