Role Summary
We’re seeking a hands-on Marketing Assistant to support our marketing initiatives by creating on-brand graphics and social content, managing and growing our LinkedIn presence, assisting with WordPress website updates, and helping with day-to-day marketing activities.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Content & Scheduling
- Plan, write, and publish posts (primarily LinkedIn; occasional support for other platforms).
- Utilize social media scheduling tools to post across multiple brands and profiles.
- Maintain a content calendar aligned with brand, audience, and SEO goals.
- Engage with our network and help grow LinkedIn groups and company pages.
Graphic Design
- Create on-brand graphics for social posts, blogs, emails, and web pages using Canva, VistaCreate, or Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Maintain brand consistency and organize assets/templates.
WordPress Admin/Editor
- Format and publish website pages and blog posts (Gutenberg or Classic Editor). No advanced web development skills required.
- Assist with basic on-page SEO, including titles, metadata, headings, and internal links.
- Conduct content QA to ensure accuracy and consistency.
General Marketing Support
- Help manage recurring tasks and timelines.
- Assist with lead magnets, landing pages, and simple lead generation tasks.
- Track and report basic marketing metrics.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with LinkedIn marketing (posts, company pages, groups).
- Graphic design skills (Canva and/or Adobe Creative Cloud).
- Strong copywriting and editing skills; able to tailor tone for a finance audience.
- WordPress admin/editor experience; basic HTML/CSS a plus.
- Understanding of SEO fundamentals (keywords, metadata, internal linking; familiarity with Yoast or Rank Math is helpful).
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage recurring tasks and deadlines.
- Quick learner who can work independently and adapt to new tools and processes.
- Experience with social media scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Publer, etc.) and email marketing platforms.
- Basic video editing (Reels/shorts), simple animation, or CRM familiarity is a plus.
