Marketing Communications & PR Specialist

The role aims to build awareness and education around JTI Philippines RRP brands and products, ensuring alignment with global and local strategies and promoting business growth through impactful communications initiatives

As the Marketing Communications & PR Specialist, you will

Strategic Planning

  • Drive strategies for integrated marketing communications and public relations aligned with JTI Philippines’ mission and vision.
  • Develop consumer-centric communication strategies for brand campaigns, product launches, portfolio expansion, and market expansion.
  • End-to-End Program Management
    • Identifying and briefing partner agencies.
    • Approving agency proposals.
    • Presenting strategies and plans to internal stakeholders.
    • Monitoring and optimizing programs as needed.
    • Lead assigned programs from strategy development to execution, including
  • Content Alignment
    • Ensure communication materials align with RRP brand strategies, brand world, tonality, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaboration
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Brand, CX, Digital Operations, Legal, Corporate Affairs, and D&F to optimize communication initiatives.
  • Reporting
    • Draft comprehensive reports on the effectiveness of assigned programs and initiatives.
  • Agency Leadership
    • High-quality output.
    • Timeliness of deliverables.
    • Agility in adjusting communication as needed.
    • Compliance with legal and internal guidelines.
    • Oversee and manage agencies contracted to execute projects, ensuring
  • Stakeholder Communication
    • Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for agency interactions and external partner communications
Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in Marketing or Sales within a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or multinational company setting.
  • Proven track record in successfully managing social media platforms, events, and marketing campaigns.
  • Working knowledge and hands-on experience in digital marketing strategies and tools.
  • Experience in managing external agencies to ensure quality execution of marketing and communication initiatives.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Basic knowledge in Power BI and budget management.
  • Awareness and understanding of the Reduced Risk Products (RRP) category and consumer behavior.
  • Comprehensive understanding of integrated marketing communications (IMC) and public relations (PR) programs.
  • Strong grasp of brand communication strategies and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Advanced project management and stakeholder management capabilities with a proven ability to lead cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong analytical and report writing skills, providing actionable insights on program effectiveness.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong partnerships with external agencies, ensuring alignment with communication objectives.
