The Manager Sales Operations' primary duty is to ensure NICE sales decision making is fact-based and prospecting efforts are efficient and effective and ultimately to improve margins on sales and marketing efforts. This position continuously evolves business intelligence through the strategic use of analytics and the development of our CRM. Additionally, the Sales Operations Manager position also consists of Business Analytics, Sales Process Management, and Sales Reporting.

The Manager Sales Operations is responsible for the support & maintenance of current sales analytics infrastructure using Salesforce.com reporting tools and works on advanced analytics as part of strategy development projects. Projects will include investments in top markets, product cross-selling, territory design, and predictive analytics. The work is based on market research, sales data captured by the Salesforce application, thorough analysis, and discussions with business partners. This position will be a leader capable of driving projects to successful completion in a highly dynamic environment.

How will you make an impact?

  • Strategically administer and continuously improve our sales CRM system
  • Continuously evaluate the most efficient lead assignment processes and work with Sales Development Manager to make any changes to the process
  • Create and distribute analytical reports including ad hoc and custom reports for sales
  • Gather reporting requirements, design and deploy reports that fulfill the requirements as needed for Sales, Marketing and other departments as requested
  • Gather process requirements from Project Management and any other departments who are key to the sales cycle and customize the CRM system to meet those requirements providing a clear view of results from prospecting and sales processes
  • Train other staff as necessary on the use of CRM and other sales tools
  • Collaborate with marketing and the training department on the development of automated sales tools (e.g. ROI calculator)
  • Analyze Sales Performance including, but not limited to:
  • Design, implement and manage sales forecasting, and associated planning. Establish high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in approaches used by the sales organization. Ensure planning and forecasting efforts are appropriately integrated with other planning processes employed within the company.
  • Manage, administer, and train on the use of our BigMachines quoting tool; continuously evaluate areas for improvement. Scope needed projects and engage the necessary resources to implement the changes needed.
  • Audit completed contracts for correct financials and discount percentages to ensure our revenue numbers are maintained with the Finance department.
  • Act as sales liaison to marketing, IT, Operations as well as other key departments such as Finance, Legal, Recruiting, and Operations. Collaborate with these groups to develop and implement quarterly plans to drive overall sales performance
  • Contribute to the optimal deployment of sales personnel. Make recommendations for changing sales roles, coverage models, or team configurations in order to maximize sales productivity. Lead a change management process to build organizational understanding of proposed changes, establish support from key leadership stakeholders, and effectively implement new deployment and job models
  • Supervises, coaches, and mentors the Sales Operations Analyst and other Sales Operations positions as assigned
  • Gives performance feedback, conducts performance reviews (including annual evaluation), sets performance goals, ensures work assignments are being met, etc.
  • Recruits, and hires for, positions in the Sales Operations group
  • Provide leadership in Sales Operations (and other groups within the Sales organization)
  • Follow the company Code of Ethics, Corporate Values and Company Vision and all policies and procedures at all times
  • Communicate in an effective and professional way with customers in and outside of NICE

Have you got what it takes?

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance or related field or equivalent work experience required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • 6+ years sales analyst / sales operations experience. (eg SPSS)
  • 1-2 years leading a high performance team
  • Proven written and oral communication skills
    • Strong mathmatical skills
    • In depth familiarity with Excel
    • Problem solving abilities
    • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Quantitative and statistical analysis skills

You will have an advantage if you also have:

  • Experience in CRM Administration, Data Enhancement, List Purchase and Vetting and Marketing Automation tools
  • Contract/Quoting Tools Experience with Invoice Reconciliation
