This role is responsible for delivering strategic business insights through in-depth analysis of financial and non-financial data. It involves evaluating business requirements, identifying relevant data sources, and developing standardized reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI. The position requires strong business acumen and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven decision-making. A key focus is on continuous improvement of reporting processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Position Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Perform in-depth analysis of financial and non-financial data to provide business insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Business Requirement Evaluation: Evaluate business requirements to identify data sources and ensure the accuracy and relevance of the data used.
- Business Intelligence Tools: Utilize business intelligence tools such as Power BI to create comprehensive and insightful analytical solutions.
- Report Development: Develop standardized reports, dashboards, and self-service access tools to provide critical information to various functional groups within the organization.
- Data Familiarization: Quickly become familiar with the data structure and sources to effectively analyze and interpret the information.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with different functional groups such as finance, strategy, marketing, and technology to understand their needs and provide relevant insights.
- Business Acumen: Apply strong business acumen in areas such as finance, strategy, marketing, technology, and products to create meaningful and impactful insights.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to enhance reporting processes and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years’ experience in management reporting, finance or strategy
- Degree in finance, business administration, math, statistics, economics and other quantitative discipline with strong business and finance background.
- Working experience in Power BI with Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with a variety of stakeholders including mid-level managers
- Ability to clearly articulate ideas and results to diverse business and technical audiences
- Curious, highly motivated self-starter who is adept at problem solving and comfortable with learning new analytical skills.
- A high degree of organizational skills, ability to set priorities, manage multiple demands and the ability to complete tasks under strict time lines is required.
- Ability to work across multiple departments.
- Self-motivated person with a positive, professional attitude and ability to work independently and on teams.
- Flexible and self-motivated, with ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
