JOB DESCRIPTION

Manage the daily activities of the Maintenance Department.

Receive, track and process work orders and requests.

Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other documents as required including preventive maintenance data and work orders.

Generate all correspondence (letters, memos, and interoffice).

Organize and maintain a filing system for all Maintenance Department documents.

Initiate and comply with purchasing procedures.

Locate by telephone and fax, parts and equipment for maintenance repairs.

Obtain comparative pricing and bids from vendors.

Track inspection requirements on computer for boilers, fire extinguishers and public health.
