Maintenance Engineer

This position will ensure production equipment is in good condition, available, and safe to support manufacturing goals and objectives

About The Job

• Ensure equipment is in good condition through technical support on machine maintenance
• Design toolings, fixtures, and jigs, and develop new process requirements needed by the production
• Lay out project plan with technicians (conceptualization, needed parts & schedule of activities)
• Create a system for the stocking of parts, monitoring of withdrawals & acquisition for replenishment of parts
• Review requested parts, assist in sourcing of parts, and follow up on delivery schedule
• Support production for equipment re-layout & machine conversions
• Ensure on-time calibration of equipments
• Generate work instructions, set-up checklist & control charts as required. Develop a training module pertaining to the best Maintenance and Process Approach, and conduct training for Manufacturing personnel
• Develop the best maintenance and process approach specific to Annealing, Sputtering, and Washing to be able to produce high-quality products
  
  
  
  

About You

• Graduate of Material Science, Metallurgical, or Chemical Engineering
• 3+ years of work experience in an electronics, semicon / automotive manufacturing company
• Exposure to Maintenance and Process Environment is a must
• Microsoft Office / Minitab knowledge is required
• Good English oral and written communication skills
• Strong background in AutoCAD, Automation, and PLC is an added advantage
