Logistics & Procurement Manager

Job Description

The Logistics & Procurement Manager aims at achieving it objectives, ensuring:

• Effective and timely implementation of all logistics, procurement and tools & GSE daily operational goals inclusive of shipping functions and inventory management.
• Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for all the parts ordered are respected
• Identification of areas of improvement in the aforementioned unit in order to achieve company goals.
• Shipping and brokerage costs are kept to a minimum.
  
  

Duties & Responsibilities

Strategy

• Propose to the Head of Material Support & Logistics SEAP & NA local inputs for the Material Support & Logistics Strategically
• Execute locally the Regional Material Support & Logistics Strategy
• Contribute to the definition of the Material support & logistics architecture of our network in the region to support the HCare Services
  
  

Forecasting activities

• Propose the local material support & logistics capability needs (CAPEX, SDP, IMMP...) and align with the Hub
  
  

Operations

• Supervise, manage and coordinate the local AH material support & logistics teams in order to achieve the requested performances levels (OTR5A, OTR5B, OTR5C, OTQ5, Woc...) for spares and repair services
• Ensure local logistics process is applied including liaising with brokers/forwarders for all incoming and outgoing
• Ensure AH policies are applied (processes, KPI’s stock policies, tools, etc.) locally and support improvement projects implementation
• Implement locally the Group transformation plan for South East Asia Pacific for the Materials & Logistics activities
• Monitor & improve with the region the cost of the network, the profitability of the activity and analyze and improve our market share
• Responsibilities in monitoring all the incoming and outgoing shipments and deliveries;
• Anticipate, monitor and /or processing permits and /or licenses required by the local authorities related to importation and handling of goods
  
  

Financial

• Manage the local costs of the logistics network
• Optimize, in cooperation with the Region, the size and location of stocks
  
  

Team Management

In collaboration with the relevant HR representative

• Lead and manage the logistics, procurement and tools teams locally in accordance with the company established procedure
• Plan, review and manage local staffing, resources deployment and utilization
• Conduct or contribute as applicable to goals setting, performance evaluation, compensation review
• Identify, assess, manage and develop the required local competencies and skillsets; define or contribute to the definition of development, succession and retention plans.
• Demonstrate, encourage and develop airbus Leadership Model behaviors and ways of working within team.
• Promote and love by the Airbus Values
  
  

Export Control

• Responsible to act as first point of contact for the Export Control Function, and liaise with central/regional export control or compliance teams when necessary
