Job Title: Local Route/Network Planner (1)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Local Route/Network Planner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, and optimizing bus routes and service networks to meet the evolving needs of our community. This role requires a strong understanding of transportation planning principles, data analysis skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support Route / Network Planning Specialist
• Update routes and service plan
• Conduct strategic planning for future routes and network development
• Analyze routing for tricycles/jeepney & last-mile connections
• Support international specialist in developing and testing future route scenarios to understand implications on service/ridership
• Collaboration with City Planning and Development Office
• Coordinate with LTFRB regarding the bus franchises and route changes
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Transport Planning, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or other related field.
• Professional Engineering/Planning License, Chartered Planner/Engineer, or equivalent certifications.
• Proven experience in route and service planning for bus systems.
• Strong understanding of transportation planning principles and practices.
• Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
• Experience using transportation planning software and tools (e.g., GIS, TransCAD, etc.).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Should have 10 years of experience in Transport Planning
