Overall purpose, duties and responsibilities of the role:
Ensures that all Eastwest Ageas Insurance Bancassurance Financial Advisors meet or exceed their performance targets by:
- Conducting regular sales monitoring, meetings and performance reviews with both sales team and bank partners
- Conducting sales and product presentations, and sales clinics
- Supporting EWA Financial Advisors, EastWest Bank Store Managers , Sales Officer’s, and other bank partners in closing complex or high-value sale.
- Reviewing the quality of the TAs’ output and ensuring their compliance to the agreed sales processes/practices.
- Ensuring that retention of effective TAs in his/her area is maintained by assisting in recruiting new staff , motivating and managing the performance of existing staff.
- Ensuring that all EastWest Bank colleagues, primarily Division Heads and Store Managers have appropriate expectations of the service from EWA and remain delighted and committed to supporting EWA.
- Working with all EastWest Bank colleagues to ensure early and effective integration of FSAs into the EastWest Bank Stores
- Ensuring that any and all compliance requests from internal and external sources are understood and implemented. This includes assisting separated EWA Financial Advisors in their transition and turn over of accountabilities and deliverables.
- Attending and contributing to EWA management meetings as required.
- Being fully aware of the insurance market in The Philippines, including products and competitors, and able to use this knowledge to develop the EWA Bancassurance business and answer questions/objections from customers and EastWest Bank staff.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 2-year work experience in sales management in a financial, insurance or service industry.
- Must have good platform or presentation skills. Training background is a plus.
- Must not have been a self-employed Insurance Agent or Agency Manager within the past two years.
- Can read, speak and write English language proficiently, aside from Tagalog or the local dialect where they are assigned.
- Proficiency in Microsoft application (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc…).
- Knows how to drive and is willing to constantly travel for bank branch visits.
