What You Will Be Doing

• Creating highly accurate Academic Data Reports and performing systematic analysis to identify issues, detect anomalies, and initiate corrections within 48 hours
• Conducting rapid-response intervention calls and facilitating post-assessment coaching sessions to eliminate blockers, distinguish knowledge gaps from mistakes, and sustain student motivation
• Assessing and deploying new educational applications and content while engineering AI/LLM prototypes to advance learning strategies and address specific challenges
• Collaborating with leadership to optimize tools, dashboards, and mastery thresholds as the AI tutor continues to develop

• Attending endless meetings or delivering generic slide presentations with no clear connection to actual results
• Grading papers, creating lesson plans, or administering traditional educational programs—AI and innovation power our approach

Learning Designer Key Responsibilities

Accelerate student learning outcomes through AI-powered analysis and real-time academic insights, evidenced by improved metrics including 2× learning velocity, app engagement, lesson comprehension, response accuracy, and decreased negative learning patterns across the Alpha Anywhere network.

Basic Requirements

• Proven experience in data science or related role, education, EdTech, or a student-support position combining analytical and interpersonal elements
• Competence in Google Sheets data analysis (lookups, pivot tables, filtering)
• High emotional intelligence, excellent communication abilities and a kid-friendly coaching approach
• Experience creating workflows and automations with AI
  
  

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Foundation in learning science, educational principles, or proven track record enhancing outcomes through data-driven strategies
• Familiarity with Generative AI, prompting techniques, and basic coding skills (Python, JavaScript, etc.) for querying AI APIs

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
