Your Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Lead Generation Specialist / SDR to join our Placements team at Virtual Internships, where we guarantee remote internships for students worldwide.

As a Lead Gen Specialist / SDR, you will generate leads and set the stage for our Placement Matching Specialists to convert opportunities.

The role will start as a 3-month full-time contract, with the potential to become permanent based on performance.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Utilizing multiple communication channels (email, calls, LinkedIn) to reach out to potential leads and generate interest in becoming a Virtual Internships host company.
  • Setting up meetings for our Placement Matching Specialists
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in our sales engagement and CRM tools.
  • Participating in the creation and optimization of lead generation and outreach strategies.
  • Following up on email marketing campaigns, webinars, and other demand generation activities.
  • Meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly lead generation targets.


Who We're Looking For

We know that great talent comes from all backgrounds. Ideally, you have:

  • Fluency in English (you don’t need an IELTS, but if you did, it would be 7.0+).
  • 1-3 years of experience in similar roles, such as SDR or Lead Generation Specialist.
  • Experience making cold calls and sending cold emails.
  • Proven ability to meet targets and KPIs.
  • Familiarity with remote work or working with global teams.
