Lead Developer

Job Summary:

We are a BPO company located in Ortigas, Pasig City, looking for a highly skilled and communicative Project Leads that are Figma and Jira Conversion Specialists to join our project management team, for one of our U.S. based clients.

The ideal candidate will not only be responsible for translating complex Figma diagrams into detailed Jira stories but will also coordinate closely with the development team to communicate the API requirements necessary to implement these stories. This role demands a deep understanding of both design principles and technical requirements, bridging the gap between our design and development teams to ensure a seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze Figma diagrams to understand project requirements, user flows, and the API calls necessary for the implementation of each feature.
• Convert diagrams into comprehensive Jira stories, detailing tasks, sub-tasks, and the specific API requirements for each story, ensuring clear and actionable items for the development team.
• Collaborate with designers and developers to clarify requirements and ensure the feasibility of designs with the available APIs.
• Coordinate with the development team to specify the API calls needed, including endpoints, methods, and expected responses, to support the functionality outlined in the Jira stories.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the design and development teams, facilitating effective communication and understanding regarding API dependencies, project requirements, and updates.
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospective meetings, providing updates on design-to-development translations and addressing any questions related to API integrations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on the latest trends and best practices for Figma, Jira, and API development, applying this knowledge to optimize the conversion and coordination processes.
• Ensure that all Jira stories include necessary technical details for developers, such as data models, authentication requirements, and error handling guidelines related to the API calls.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Figma, Jira, and understanding of API concepts, with a strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to translate designs into development tasks that include API specifications.
• Strong knowledge of software development processes, agile methodologies, and project management principles.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly and effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with design and development teams, fostering a productive and positive working environment.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to creating accurate and high-quality work products.
• Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• 2+ years of professional experience with React, including familiarity with React Server Components
• Strong knowledge of React, TypeScript, and Redux
• Knowledge in XML, XSLT, XPath, XSD, JSON, JSON Schema, HTML, and CS
• Experience in cloud computing platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a drive to create user-centric software
• Effective communication and teamwork skills

Work Schedule:

• Night Shift ( 9:00pm-6:00am; Monday-Friday)
• Hybrid work set up ( WFH on Thursdays and Fridays after 90 days )
