About The Team & Business Line

The UX Designer will join a product engineering group that deliver applications to the Alternative Investments business line. Citco has developed a global “Citco Experience Design” strategy which applies Design practices within key product functions, and this newly created role will drive the use of these practices in this product group. The UX Designer will participate in upstream design processes, prototype and iterate user interaction design, and deliver and specifications to engineering streams.

The position is based in Manila and may require some international travel to other CITCO locations. The UX Designer is part of the global Experience Design group, and is assigned to the Alternative Investments engineering group in Manila; the successful candidate will interact with business stakeholders, and other technical groups.

Your Role

• collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, engineers and product managers to deliver elegant user experience design
• communicate UX through the design process with prototypes, wireframes, service blueprints and high-fidelity prototypes
• integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing specifications
• advocate prioritization of design-centered changes, refinements, and improvements
  
  

About You

General

• passionate about user-centered design, systems thinker, visual designer
• ability to apply design principles to complex problems, from conceptual to detailed design stage
• self-motivated and adaptable, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• ready to join a great product team: strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to navigate a dynamic cross-functional environment
• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or equivalent education and experience
  
  

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in an interaction design role, with supporting portfolio
• UX fundamentals: research, wireframes, mockups, prototyping, usability testing
• experience in usage of design systems to drive coherent design practices
• beneficial: research experience, e.g. interviews, analytics, research methods
