Junior Finance Executive (Remote, Manila, Philippines)

Boxgreen is looking for a detail-oriented Finance Executive to join our dynamic team. This remote role offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to key financial operations, especially in Accounts Receivable (AR) and month-end closing processes.

As our Finance Executive, you'll be integral to our financial operations, handling tasks ranging from book closing to payment collection and invoicing. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth financial interactions across our entities, contributing to the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee invoicing per client contracts, ensuring accuracy and on-time issuance.
• Track and record incoming payments, ensuring compliance with payment terms.
• Proactively manage overdue accounts and ensure timely collections.
• Generate and review AR aging reports, collaborating with the finance team for reconciliation.
• Assist with month-end AR reconciliations and support accurate financial reporting.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline AR and closing procedures.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure compliance with accounting policies
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and expense management, ensuring alignment with financial projections and maintaining cash flow discipline.
• Provide AR documentation for audits and support smooth audit processes.
• Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks, reporting, and analysis as needed.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
• Diploma in Accountancy/Finance or ACCA qualification
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
• Knowledge of Xero will be an added advantage
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Adaptability to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
• Able to start work immediately or within short notice
