Position Summary:

Joining the Pax8 ProServe engineering team, you will be responsible for the technical implementation and upkeep of primarily Azure projects, as well as the business applications supporting the Pax8 product ecosystem. This includes security endpoint/email applications and backup solutions.

The role of the Cloud Engineer – Azure/M365 is to support the ProServe Team in delivering Azure solutions, including Azure migrations, security email Cloud Software, and system administration for Windows.You'll deploy key Azure and M365 components tailored to business and customer needs, applying well-architected framework and cloud adoption methodologies. You'll also drive engineering standards for high-value Azure services. Additionally, you'll implement and maintain security, backup, and monitoring best practices to ensure data integrity and system availability, including regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and proactive performance and security monitoring.There is an expectation in this role that you may be required to work outside normal hours, because of planned migrations & upgrades or escalation on project issues.

This role is based in Makati City, Manila. Employees are expected to work from the office.

Essential Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):

• Windows Server administration, Cloud-based email security and backup software, Azure Cloud implementation
• Supporting project manager and cloud architects to supply the best partner experience.
• Assisting with the Cloud product and service delivery roadmap.
• Supporting ProServe platform design and delivery, including app infrastructure; Azure, Kubernetes.
• Follow branding guidelines from Marketing team and engage as a stakeholder
• Ad hoc after-hours project support where required.
• Support the Professional Services Team across Azure, M365, as well as Email and Endpoint security products.
• Other duties as required to meet business needs.
  
  

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

• Minimum of 2 years practical experience working on Microsoft Cloud environments (Azure and M365).
• Understanding of the Microsoft Azure platform and core services.
• Understanding the setup and administration of Microsoft 365.
• Knowledge of Azure Active Directory.
• Experience with Git, GitHub.
• Experience with Backup, Endpoint and Email Security products is beneficial.
• The ability to communicate strongly, engage with internal stakeholders, and elicit a clear understanding of requirements.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective cross-function working relationships.
• Good documentation skills.
• Ability to ‘think ahead’ and ‘future proof’.
