IT/Technology Procurement Sourcing Specialist (AU Global Education, Hybrid)

What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- Strong data management and analytical skills and proven ability to synthesize critical information.
- Solid understanding of procurement processes, policies, and best practices.
- Ability to build strong working relationships with various stakeholders using effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to identify business process inefficiencies and drive process improvements.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with procurement systems (e.g. Ariba)
- Background in IT procurement or technology sourcing
- Understanding of budget management, cost analysis, and project procurement support.
What will you do?
- Drive procurement activities for IT projects.
- Utilizing, and continuously improving, the existing sourcing and renewal processes and mechanisms is critical to providing predictable and optimized sourcing/renewal outcomes.
- Methodical and disciplined approach to maintaining the accuracy of Procurement, Vendor, and Contractual information in the organization's systems of record.
- Compliance with organization's Procurement and Delegation of Authority Policies and Technology Budget and Procurement procedures.
- Perform ROI, NPV and other analysis to differentiate between competitive offerings, contractual terms, and business scenarios.
- Review proposals for compliance to preferred terms. Liaise with Legal and Stakeholders on non-compliant terms, Service Level agreements, renewal terms etc.
- Work in partnership with the accounting team on resolving any missed or late payments and address any root cause in our process.
- Administer procurements required by credit card.
- Support technology teams, procurement team, and others in ushering contracts, orders and other documents through purchasing workflows.
- Regularly update internal databases with new prospective suppliers, contracts, credit accounts and other information to inform sourcing decisions.
